About Scrambled Words Vocabulary Game
Use Scrambled Words for a vocabulary warm-up, spelling practice or a short review of subject terms. Choose a prepared word list or upload a one-column CSV, select how many items to play and start. Pupils work out the original word or phrase from its scrambled letters.
The template requires the heading Word or Phrase. The page checks the file and reports duplicate entries rather than silently repeating them. Reveal answer supports feedback, Next item moves through the game, and Return to setup lets you change the list or length.
Review prepared vocabulary for your class, or create a set for a reading text, topic or examination unit. Uploaded lists and the scrambling process remain in the browser. Prepared-list loading needs the page to be served from a web server; local file upload remains the alternative when the library cannot be fetched.
Can learners open the same activity?
Copy game link creates a URL containing the selected items. Anyone receiving it can inspect the original words, so use it for practice rather than a test requiring hidden answers. Large lists may produce links that are difficult to send reliably.
