About Classroom Boggle
Use this Boggle-style word game as a literacy starter or a vocabulary challenge on a classroom display. Pupils find words in a 4 by 4 letter grid by connecting adjacent letters, including diagonals. The Qu tile represents two letters. Pupils can record answers on paper or mini-whiteboards while the shared board stays on screen.
Choose a time limit from 30 seconds to five minutes, then start when everyone is ready. Pause and resume are useful for explaining a rule or discussing a word. The analogue clock and numerical countdown give the class two ways to see the time remaining.
Reset Letters stops the timer, creates a new arrangement and restores the selected time limit. Agree word length, scoring and repeated-letter rules before the round. The page supplies the grid and timer rather than a dictionary-based marking system, so the teacher checks suggested words. Letters and timing are generated in the browser without sending pupil answers anywhere.
