About Classroom Snakes and Ladders

This classroom Snakes and Ladders game connects a traditional board race with teacher-led questions. Choose a prepared bank or upload a CSV and begin. The class works together to answer correctly, unlock a roll and reach square 100 before the computer.

The question board groups questions by category and value. Reveal the answer, then mark the response correct or incorrect: correct answers unlock a class roll, while incorrect answers give the computer its roll. The board shows both positions, and recent moves help the class follow what happened.

Use the game for oral recall, paired discussion or mini-whiteboard responses. Dice and board events introduce chance, so winning is not the same as achieving an assessment standard. The CSV columns are Category, Value, Question and Answer. Your files are parsed in the browser; prepared banks require access to the site library. Reset starts a fresh race with the selected questions.

How does sharing work?

Share game creates a URL containing the question set. Anyone who receives it can inspect the questions and answers. Avoid student information, and check that the complete link opens correctly before using it in class.
