About Classroom Quiz Chess

Quiz Chess combines a question-and-answer activity with a chessboard. Choose a prepared question set or upload a CSV, select two-player mode or a computer opponent, and start when the class is ready. Players answer a question before earning a chess move.

The teacher reveals the answer and judges the response, making this suitable for verbal revision or team discussion. The chessboard checks legal moves and offers a promotion choice when needed. Computer play has easy and medium settings, so you can adapt the chess component independently of the subject questions.

For a custom file, use the documented Question and Answer columns; Difficulty is optional. Questions are processed locally after loading. The chess rules library is downloaded from an external CDN, so internet access may be needed on first load. School network restrictions can prevent that dependency from loading even though no question upload is required.

Can I share my chess question set?

Yes. A custom game link carries the question set and settings. Anyone with the link can inspect the included questions and answers. It is a revision activity rather than a protected test.
