About Educake Report Generator

Each student starts a new report in the Word document. Their table includes their first and last names, the export details such as course, subject and date range, summary measures and individual quiz results. The class from the export details appears as Group. The school logo appears at the top of every page.

UPN, the student Class column, Incomplete %, and Incomplete quizzes are omitted. Quizzes set shows only the student’s value. The first data row supplies the group average percentages and quiz scores. Completed and late quiz counts are group totals, so their group average is calculated per student.

Differences in percentages are shown in percentage points (pp). Zero quiz scores remain zero, as recorded in the export; the file does not identify whether each zero means an unanswered quiz or a scored attempt. Missing or invalid values are marked Not available, with a message explaining what to check.

How does the automatic download work?

Choose or drop one file. The page reads and checks it, creates the reports, and starts the Word download without another button. Check the browser’s downloads if the document does not open automatically. Choose or drop another file to create the next report; you can reuse the same file.

Are uploaded files kept private?

Your file is read with FileReader and processed in your browser. Its contents are not uploaded or saved by this page. Internet access is needed to load the Word library and, for Excel files, the spreadsheet library from external CDNs. CSV files work without a static server, including when this HTML page is opened locally, as long as the library can load.
